Feynlab Self Heal Plus is a standout performer in nearly every measurable category, earning perfect 10s across visual appeal, slickness, hydrophobicity, and durability, with an exceptional 106 degree contact angle and a friction coefficient of just 0.09. This professional coating's specular reflection reading of 90 GU indicates a modest gain in surface reflectivity compared to bare paint, which is worth noting for gloss-obsessed enthusiasts.
The significant drawback is ease of use, scoring a painful -5/10, making this a coating strictly for experienced professional detailers comfortable working with demanding application windows. If you have the skill to apply it correctly, the results are hard to beat.
Unfortunately we were unable to replicate self healing performance from this coating. The results were limited to the self-healing naturally observed in modern clear coats and a difference between a bare clearcoat and the coating could not be observed in my test.
